Current Event

      There have been a lot of police violently attaching people and making saying that the other person was threatening, had a weapon, etc. When I hear those kind of things on the news it really makes me mad because they also show videos that show evidence that the police officers are lying. They attack the people very violently. Yes They have to defend themselves but there have been lies that he officers say to try and not be found guilty. I know there are people who do attack but the ones I have seen they actually don't. I have also heard of some where the officers kill the person. There was a case where there were hurting the guy but they still did not stop. They kept on pushing him towards the floor even though they guy told them he could not breath. That really do get me angry. It makes me gain hatred towards the police officers. I do realize that not all officers are the same. I feel that some officers take advantage of  who they are to get attention which is why they do what they do. They are here to help us but some of them just make us feel unsafe. all of the cases that I've hear are of African American men and Mexican me. I think racist officers are the ones that to that. I think they take advantage to take out all their anger they have towards that race. I do know that officers have to defend themselves but in some cases the other person is innocent. I think that the officers who kill or hurt a person really bad should get a big punishment. I do not think it is fair if they only get a little punishment. They dontthink about how bad the persons family will be hurting. They only think about themselves even if they are wrong.
